Cross Country Skiing

The South Cariboo loves its cross-country skiing! So much in fact that displayed outside South Cariboo Visitor Centre are the world's largest cross-country skis, 36-foot Karhu racing skis with poles. Better still, who can argue with the area's 150-kilometre community-based trails system, one of the longest groomed networks in North America. Ski the 99 Mile or 108 Mile trails systems day or night.

Also, while in the area check out Clinton’s own ski trails network. There is also a ski-and-snowboard play park at 108 Mile. This family-oriented hill offers three runs, night lights, a handle tow, ski rental and lessons; a great place to learn to ski. A tube run also offers an exciting alternative.
